Think Big

Just out of curiosity, where do you (or your business) want to be, and how far away do you think you are? Well, then, there you have it! :)

You don't get to where you want to be by thinking about it, you get there by thinking from it. If you are thinking about where you want to be, then in your mind there is distance between you and what you are thinking about; you will never get there because you're always conscious of that distance. But if you think from where you want to be, then in your mind there is no separation...you're already there!

Here's a personal example: I don't think about this radio show someday being in national syndication, I think from the position that the show is already in national syndication. In my mind, there is no separation. Step into the place you want to be and think from that place. Once your mind is there, the rest will follow. Think this sounds like a bunch of woo-woo metaphysical psycho-babble? Think again. Recall the times when you achieved something...you arrived there when your mind accepted it as a real possibility and simply caught up to it. It's as if we literally step into a new reality...our mind finally accepts something new!

Okay, last week was a disaster in miscommunication, but as promised we're making it up to you. Joining us in studio is comedian Carlos Alazraqui, better known as "Officer Garcia" on Comedy Central's hit show Reno 911.
