While travel editor at The NY Daily News, she wrote the New York chapters for Thomas Cook's On the Road series. A member of New York Travel Writers Association and The Foreign Press Association, she is the winner of two Front Page awards (2002 and 2003) from the Newswomen's Club of New York.

Robbie is an active, working owner in both his agency and the greater travel agency community. He has served on the National Board of Directors of ARTA, Association of Retail Travel Agents, and is currently the President of the Arizona chapter. He also serves with ATAA, the Arizona Travel Agents Association.
