This Week's Topic: "They're Baack...Snowbird Tsunami"
Okay, first off...you have to say "they're baack" like the little girl in the move Poltergeist; otherwise, it just looks like we can't spell. Secondly, we realize that "Snowbirds" is not the politically correct term for winter visitors and we mean no disrespect to our seasonal friends. All that aside, it's that time of year again so we'll be talking about how your business can get a bigger piece of the cash-cow pie or, more specifically, why you should keep your middle finger on the steering wheel. It's the love/hate relationship we have with those completely lost drivers in very large domestically-produced automobiles that is the focus of our show this week!

To prevent this show from being completely ridiculous, our guest in the first hour is Rachel Pearson, Director of Corporate Communications, Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. Armed with facts and figures, she will tell us just how important winter visitors are to the local economy and what they mean to your business.
The Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau is here to help you with any questions or needs you may have prior to experiencing one of the best leisure and business destinations found anywhere.

"How I Did It" with Guest Entrepreneur

Our guest in the second hour is Heidi Lamar, Owner, The Lamar Everyday Spa. Tune in to find out what this award-winning entrepreneur is doing to capitalize on the winter visitors.
"One of the Valley's Best Day Spa Deals" ....Phoenix Magazine
The Island inspired ambience of The Lamar Everyday Spa is an unexpected oasis in the Sonoran Desert. Our knowledgeable staff has combined exotic therapies from around the world to create an unparalleled place of rejuvenation. Our co-ed status helped make us "One of Phoenix's Most Romantic Places to Take a Date" (City Search) so it is no surprise that about 50% of our guests are men. Of course that might have something to do with the fact that we are also "The Official Spa of the Phoenix Suns Dancers".
